Who we serve
At CDF Wollongong we provide ethical, faith-driven financial services to a range of Catholic entities and any entity that falls within the definition of an “Associateˮ under the Corporations Act 2001 (Act) Exemption Instrument 2016/813 (Wholesale Charitable Investment Fundraising) and an “Affiliateˮ under the Banking Exemption No. 1 of 2017 of the Banking Act 1959.

Who we cannot serve
CDF Wollongong cannot offer, issue or sell products to individual retail investors who are not Associates and Affiliates, and as such, its products are not retail products and are therefore not available to the general public.
How do I support the Catholic Community with savings or investments?
Products for retail investors (ie general public investors) are available from the CDF Community Fund. CDF Online Banking
How do I access my account using CDF Online?
It’s easy to access your account using CDF Online, Simply use your login details to access accounts on our website www.cdfwollongong.org.au
What is my CDF Online log-in information?
Your log-in information will have been provided to you when you were approved to have access. Get in touch with us for further information.
Can I open or close accounts using CDF Online?
You need to contact the team at CDF Wollongong to open or close new savings or investment accounts.
What if I have forgotten my access code/password?
For security reasons, your account will become locked after three incorrect password attempts. Contact our team, and we’ll help you regain access.
What happens if Iʼve changed my mobile number?
You can easily update your mobile number via CDF Online’s ‘settingsʼ and ‘setup security optionsʼ. A one-time-password will be sent to you as a level of security.
Corporate Cards
How do I order a new Corporate Credit card?
Corporate Credit Cards are available to employees in the following Diocesan entities only:
- Parishes
- Catholic Schools
- Clergy
- Religious Congregations
- Church Agencies – Diocesan Pastoral Works
Our team will process applications when approval to issue a corporate card is received by us.
Unfortunately, we cannot offer Corporate Credit Cards to individuals or to volunteers in other Catholic entities such as Parents and Friends Associations or Catholic Womenʼs League associations.
How do I find the balance available for a Corporate Card?
Use the CommBank app to obtain up-to-the-minute information, as well as lock, block or report unauthorised use of the Corporate Card.

How do I find the monthly clearance of purchases for a Corporate Card?
You can quickly and easily check the available balance by using the CommBank app.
Digital Wallets
Not only can you use the CommBank app to tap and pay, you can also choose from a range of digital wallets – like Apple Pay, Google Pay or Samsung Pay.
Digital wallet payments can facilitate secure, speedy transactions and help reduce the risk of fraud.
Direct Credits & Direct Debits
When do Direct credits and Direct Debit get processed by CDF Wollongong?
CDF Wollongong uses CommBank to access the Australian banking system and process debits and credits approved on CDF Online at least 2 times every business day at approximately 9am and 3.30pm or more frequently when required. Check with the CDF team for exact processing times if required.
International Money Transfer
When do IMTʼs get processed by CDF Wollongong?
IMTʼs are processed when received. Depending on the currency being paid there are CommBank cutoffs which mean that the payment may not be processed until the next business day.
New/Update Account Authority
How do we change the Authorised Signatories on Accounts?
Simply download the CDF Online Authority form and have all nominated authorisers complete their contact details and provide identification for new authorisers, then email to [email protected].
How long does it take to change the Authorised Signatories on Accounts?
Please allow 2 full working days for CDF Wollongong to process and update Authorised Signatories.
We will notify new authorisers when they are able to login to CDF Online when our process is complete.
Loans
How do we apply for a CDF Wollongong Loan?
The first step is to use our online Loan Calculator to get an indication of repayments then contact the team at CDF Wollongong to arrange a meeting with our Lending Specialists. Approval requirements and strict lending criteria apply to all CDF Wollongong loan applications.
Loans are only available to the following Diocesan entities:

- Church Agencies – Diocesan Pastoral Works
Statements
Can statements be mailed?
Statements are not mailed out, you can access them at any time by logging into CDF Online where you can opt to download statements for your chosen account.
